Southern Homes is in the process of renovating a home in Uptown New Orleans for a wonderful couple who wanted to add a camelback to their gorgeous converted double.

“We are currently a few weeks into a home renovation project with Southern Homes and couldn’t be happier with the way things are going. We decided to camelback our converted double shotgun after finding out we were expecting child #3 (due to arrive at the end of May). Our upstairs addition – which will be living space for our 2 older children – includes a playroom/bonus room, 2 bedrooms, and a “Jack & Jill” bathroom. For us, choosing a builder for this project was an easy decision. In observing a few of Southern Homes’ new construction and renovation projects throughout our neighborhood over the past few years, we have been impressed with the quality and timeliness of their projects. One of the greatest benefits to working with Southern Homes, especially as first-time renovators, is that they are a one-stop shop handling the architectural plans, engineering, and the contracting phases. So you need only to go to them with your ideas/plans and they can bring it all to life!
